Five Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Gate...

Halloween is fast approaching and for some reason all I can sing are Christmas carols. Is it the fact that I have already been browsing the web for gifts or is it just that marketers are damned good? I have seen all sorts of Christmas stuff at different stores and I wonder when Christmas became so long? I have carved one jack-lantern with the kids (and was laughed at by the simplicity of the face by my brother.) I am planning on carving another (and hopefully will do a more complex one that will "in yo face" my brother.)
Halloween pasts were great. I had a very festive father and sister (both are deceased) that decorated and baked and cooked holiday fare. It was so much fun! I hope that I can do that for Molly. I should think of some spooky food...hmmmm....liver?
