I am thirty-five years old. I am married and have one daughter. I am a Kindergarten Teacher. Recently I decided that I am sick of living paycheck to paycheck and suffering when an unexpected cost comes up - like my car needing to be fixed. I bought Ramit Sethi's book "I Will Teach You To Be Rich!" and have made MONEY my project. Of course I would love to easily win the lotto or inherit some grand amount of money from a rich relative- but it hasn't happened yet. So, I decided that if I was going to "get rich" or at least get smarter about money I was going to have to do it step by step. This is my blog journaling my journey. As a teacher I am off work for the summer (lucky, I know) so I obviously have a bit more time on my hands now so I hope to make a good bit of money this summer and according to my money-guru Ramit "once you start earning, it becomes much easier to earn more."

Hello. It's me and as you know I am a stickler for spelling - in any language. It is "Schreiben" not Schrieben, but what the hell. I guess the money I spent at the Goethe Institute was good for something. Au revoir.

There we go...all fixed!
I finished another class today! Yay, all I have is Tuesday and then I am free for a little over a month. Teachers make horrible students. We all want to be in charge, we hate homework and we are overachievers that are highly competetive.
